→Diplomatic or courtesy visas are issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Madagascar and its Foreign Missions. These types of visa are valid for 1 month and allow multiple entries.

COURTESY VISA
1. Note Verbale; 2. Diplomatic passport whose end of validity is more than six months from the date of arrival on Malagasy territory; 3. Copy of the first pages of said passport; 4. Copy of the mission/travel order or the decree/order of appointment of the sending State; 5. Photocopy of the Letter of Approval or Exequatur (for Heads of Mission); 6. Three (03) identity photos of 3.5x4.5 format; 7. Flight plan or booking certificate.
1. Verbal Note; 2. Service or official passport whose end of validity is later than six months from the date of arrival on Malagasy territory; 3. Copy of first pages said passport; 4. Mission order from the sending State; 5. Letter of Approval from Malagasy Government; 6. Three (03) identity photos of 3.5x4.5 format; 7. Plan of flight or confirmation of reservation.
1. Letter addressed to the Malagasy Ministry of Foreign Affairs from the ministries techniques concerned; 2. Service or official passport whose end of validity is at more than six months from the date of arrival in Malagasy territory; 3. Copy of the first pages of said passport; 4. Copy of the Convention between the Malagasy State and the State Foreigner; 5. Terms of reference for the cooperant's intervention; 6. Three (03) identity photos in 3.5x4.5 format; 7. Flight plan or reservation certificate.
1. Letter of invitation (or official letter attesting to the decision of the Government to host the event); 2. Request from the Technical Ministry or the Organizing Institution of the event; 3. Service passport whose end of validity is more than six months from the date of arrival on Malagasy territory; 4. Copy of the first passport certified pages; 5. Three (03) identity photos of 3.5x4.5 format; 6. Flight plan or booking certificate.
1. Note Verbale/Letter addressed to the MAE from the technical ministries and addressed
to Mr or Mrs the Minister of Foreign Affairs as the case may be; 2. Passport of
service or official or pass whose end of validity is more than six months from the
date of arrival in Malagasy territory; 3. Copy of the first pages of said passport;
4. Copy of the mission/travel order from the sending State of the main beneficiary;
5. Photocopy of the passport and entry visa, if applicable, of the beneficiary
main; 6. Civil status certificate (marriage certificate and birth certificate or adoption certificate); 7. Parental authorization signed by both parents for minor children traveling with only one of the parents, duly signed and legalized by the competent authorities; 8. Three (03) identity photos of 3.5x4.5 format; 9. Flight plan or reservation certificate.

visa obtained from the employer, if applicable; 5. Employment contract approved by the Ministry
of Foreign Affairs; 6. Certificate of affiliation to the National Social Security Fund (CNAPS) (unless the person is already subject to social security provisions in another country); 7. Certificate of affiliation to an occupational medical service or certificate of affiliation to health insurance (unless the person is already subject to social security provisions in another country); 8. Three (03) identity photos of 3.5x4.5 format; 9. Flight plan or booking certificate.
