Immigrant visas
30 (THIRTY) DAY IMMIGRANT VISA (CONVERTIBLE AND EXTENDABLE INTO A LONG STAY)
→ Immigrant Visa (Transformable visa) is a 30 days visa, issued exclusively by a Malagasy Embassy, which allows its holder, once in Madagascar, to apply for a long term visa. Transformable visa may be issued to travelers on scientific, investment, work, family, education, religious purposes.
STEPS TO APPLY FOR A VISA

2- Book an appointment and Pay the fee here
3- Submit the VISA application and Required documents to the Embassy
REGUIRED DOCUMENTS TO APPLY FOR IMMIGRANT VISA
- A letter requesting visa for applicant with the purpose of his/her visit (to Mrs Chargé d’Affairs)
- Application form duly completed and signed;
- 2 recent passport photos;
- Original passport valid for at least 6 months after the planned date of entry into Madagascar;
- Photocopy of passport;
- Return ticket or confirmation of reservation;
- Excerpt from criminal record issued by his country of origin month of 03 months to be translated into French or English;
- Certificate of accommodation and care with legalized signature or lease contract;
- Photocopy of National Identity Card (CIN) or Resident Card of the host;
- Certificate of residence of the host
- Work permit issued by the Ministry in charge of labor and employment
- Employment contract approved by the Ministry in charge of labor and employment
- Certificate of employment endorsed by the Employer
- Excerpt from the Trade Register (RCS) of the Employer
- Fiscal Identification Card (CIF) or Statistical Card (CF) of the Employer
- A letter requesting visa for applicant with the purpose of his/her visit (to Mrs Chargé d’Affairs)
- Application form duly completed and signed;
- 2 recent passport photos;
- Original passport valid for at least 6 months after the planned date of entry into Madagascar;
- Photocopy of passport;
- Return ticket or confirmation of reservation;
- Excerpt from criminal record issued by his country of origin month of 03 months to be translated into French or English;
- Certificate of accommodation and care with legalized signature or lease contract;
- Photocopy of National Identity Card (CIN) or Resident Card of the host;
- Certificate of residence of the host
- Volunteer employment authorization issued by the Ministry in charge of labor and employment
- Volunteer employment agreement approved by the Ministry in charge of labor and employment
- Document specifying the coverage of the Worker
- A letter requesting visa for applicant with the purpose of his/her visit (to Mrs Chargé d’Affairs)
- Application form duly completed and signed;
- 2 recent passport photos;
- Original passport valid for at least 6 months after the planned date of entry into Madagascar;
- Photocopy of passport;
- Return ticket or confirmation of reservation;
- Excerpt from criminal record issued by his country of origin month of 03 months to be translated into French or English;
- Certificate of accommodation and care with legalized signature or lease contract;
- Photocopy of National Identity Card (CIN) or Resident Card of the host;
- Certificate of residence of the host;
- Notification of retirement or pensioner card;
- Lease contract or certificate of residence in Madagascar;
- Bank certificate confirming regular funding of your account in Madagascar;
- A letter requesting visa for applicant with the purpose of his/her visit (to Mrs Chargé d’Affairs)
- Application form duly completed and signed;
- 2 recent passport photos;
- Original passport valid for at least 6 months after the planned date of entry into Madagascar;
- Photocopy of passport;
- Return ticket or confirmation of reservation;

- Certificate of accommodation and care with legalized signature or lease contract;

- Certificate of registration in a public or private institution approved by the Malagasy State;
- Scholarship certificate or proof of resources (signed and legalized letter of commitment + copy of pay slip);
- A letter requesting visa for applicant with the purpose of his/her visit (to Mrs Chargé d’Affairs)
- Application form duly completed and signed;
- 2 recent passport photos;
- Original passport valid for at least 6 months after the planned date of entry into Madagascar;
- Photocopy of passport;
- Return ticket or confirmation of reservation;

- Certificate of accommodation and care with legalized signature or lease contract;
- Photocopy of National Identity Card (CIN) or Resident Card of the host;

- Internship agreement signed by the parties concerned. Mandatory document mentioning the following clauses: duration of the internship, definition of the missions entrusted to the intern and the objectives of the internship, remuneration if any, advantages offered by the company to the intern (medical coverage, accommodation, catering, etc.) ;
- Host Company identification document;
- A letter requesting visa for applicant with the purpose of his/her visit (to Mrs Chargé d’Affairs)
- Application form duly completed and signed;
- 2 recent passport photos;
- Original passport valid for at least 6 months after the planned date of entry into Madagascar;
- Photocopy of passport;
- Return ticket or confirmation of reservation;
- Excerpt from criminal record issued by his country of origin month of 03 months to be translated into French or English;
- Certificate of accommodation and care with legalized signature or lease contract;
- Photocopy of National Identity Card (CIN) or Resident Card of the host;
- Certificate of residence of the host;
- Registered articles of association;
- Statistical map;
- Excerpt from the Trade and Companies Register (RCS);
- Tax Identification Card (CIF) or professional card (up to date);
- Certificate of bank affiliation of the company;
- Tax payment certificate;
- A letter requesting visa for applicant with the purpose of his/her visit (to Mrs Chargé d’Affairs)
- Application form duly completed and signed;
- 2 recent passport photos;
- Original passport valid for at least 6 months after the planned date of entry into Madagascar;
- Photocopy of passport;
- Return ticket or confirmation of reservation;

- Parental authorization signed by both parents for minor children

- Original passport valid for at least 6 months after the planned date of entry into Madagascar;

- Research authorization issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research or Letter of acceptance from the host university in Madagascar;
- Document specifying the terms of research funding. Certificate of support from the University (or from a private company or an institutional body);
