The physical presence of the applicant at the Embassy is required for each application for a life certificate.

Documents required:
- A consular identity card
- An original certificate of celibacy issued by the municipality of birth.
- A full copy of your birth certificate issued by the municipality of birth.
- Fees:
- If the applicant cannot move or appoint someone to collect the certificate, he can send a stamped envelope.
- Consular card
- Original full birth certificate, dated less than three (03) months and in French language of the child to be recognized.
- Photocopy of the Malagasy passport or the CIN of the mother
- Photocopy of the father's identity card.
- A stamped envelope addressed to you (in case of impossibility of withdrawal)
- The original document dated less than three (03) months ago
- Photocopy of the consular card for Malagasy nationals
- A stamped envelope with your address and name or name of your host (in case of impossibility of withdrawal)
- The original and the photocopy of the document to be certified

The presence of the principal at the Embassy is mandatory for the deposit of signature
Processing time: 48h
The granting of the deductible following a change of residence or a permanent move falls within the competence of the Legislation and Value Department at the General Directorate of Customs of Madagascar but the file for the franchise application must be duly endorsed by the Embassy.

- Certificate of change of residence issued by the municipality of the place of last residence
- Copy of the Identity and Issuance pages of the Malagasy passport (+ copy of the foreign passport if dual nationality)
- Valid residence permit (copy of foreign national identity card if dual nationality)

- Copy of the gray card if there is a car or a motorcycle in the list

The Embassy of Madagascar can issue a body transport certificate only under certain conditions:
- A Malagasy identity document of the deceased
- A burial permit issued by Madagascar at the place where he will be buried
- A death certificate
- A flight plan, flight number and date of departure
- The report from the Prefecture (for neighboring France)
- The certificate of non-epidemic< br />- The certificate of Non Contagion
- The coffin closure permit
- Mortuary pass
- Certificate of coffining
- A death certificate from the commune of death
